HEAT & HEAT

In recognition of Fire Safety Month (October), the Department of Environmental Health and Safety hosts "Heat & Heat," its annual  annual series of  fire prevention demonstrations. Using a built mock residence hall, Stony Brook University's Fire and Emergency Services team performs a kitchen controlled burn to demonstrate the rapid spread of fire and the importance of evacuation.
